The low-pressure die casting machine is a versatile piece of equipment that is widely used in the production of aluminium alloy castings across a range of industries, including automobiles, motorcycles, electric power, high-speed railways, textile machinery, and aerospace.
The equipment includes the primary machine, comprising a closing mechanism, core extraction mechanism, ejector mechanism, lifting mechanism, picking mechanism, and others. It also adapts a hydraulic system, a holding furnace (melting pool or crucible type), and a liquid surface forcing device, as well as electrical components.
Performance characteristics
The closing mechanism is guided by four columns and adopts the closing method of fast closing and slow closing, which improves the working efficiency and reduces the impact on the mold. The rigidity of the machine is good because of the four-column structure;
The movable mold plate is equipped with safety limit device to prevent the movable mold plate from falling accidentally;
Four side dies are mounted on the octagonal base;
The pick-up tray adopts rotating oil cylinder, with smooth operation and adjustable up and down position;
Automatic hydraulic clamping mechanism is used for loading and unloading and fixing the moulds, which can be installed and dismantled quickly and positioned accurately and reliably;
The machine can be set up with multiple cooling circuits, each circuit can be air-cooled and water-cooled separately, and the cooling control of time mode or mold temperature automatic control mode can be selected;
Adopting molten pool type holding furnace with radiation heating and PID control, rated temperature range:680-750ºC, temperature control accuracy:±5ºC;
The furnace is fixed on the transmission trolley, and the lifting of the furnace body is completed by the lifting mechanism, and the front and rear smooth movement of the trolley is completed by the hydraulic motor drive;
The electrical control system adopts the monitoring method of upper and lower computer. Imported PLC is used as the lower control machine to complete the control of the main machine sequence action, liquid level pressurization and mold cooling of the low pressure casting machine. The imported human-machine interface or industrial control computer is used as the upper computer to complete the parameter setting and modification of the low-pressure casting machine, the monitoring and display of the pressure data and curve, and the working status and fault alarm of the machine. The monitoring method of upper and lower computer ensures that even when the upper computer fails, the lower control system can still operate automatically according to the preset process parameters, thus further improving the system stability;
The liquid level pressurization device adopts imported pneumatic proportional valve + high-precision pressure sensor to realize the detection and real-time closed-loop feedback control of the pressure in the holding furnace, with PID regulation. It has the functions of multi-stage linear pressurization, automatic tracking setting pressurization curve, insulation furnace leakage compensation, liquid level compensation, etc. High accuracy of pressure control and good repeatability ensure stable consistency of low-pressure pouring process and effectively improve casting yield.
